The Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge will take place on September 29, 2007. Individuals, groups, and organizations are encouraged to participate. It’s easy - join an existing site or register a new site. There is no cost involved, simply visit the Quintessence Foundation for detailed information.

The Quintessence Foundation was established in 1998 to facilitate the dissemination of breastfeeding information to communities in British Columbia, Canada. In a short period of time, the Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge has spread throughout North America. It is typically held on the Saturday prior to World Breastfeeding Week, which in Canada is celebrated October 1-7.

Results from the 2006 Challenge show participation by 4724 babies at 158 sites in 18 regions. Please help make 2007 bigger and better!
