Loved the comment that if you don’t use your creativity you can lose it when you get older. I have found this to be true for me, but when I moved from a sales career into teaching primary grades…the creativity started flowing back – and I so glad!

Sounds like a fun book!

I enjoyed reading this interview. I am not crafty myself, but I do try to abide with this rule: Always say “yes” when the kids want to paint or do art. I have a cabinet stocked with art supplies and easels always ready for my kids to draw or do what not.

Great article! It is soo easy to get caught up with life that sometimes it’s hard to be a great parent. Amanda is nonjudgmental and offers solutions that work with any family structure.

What a great interview! I agree with less TV and more sleep! My 2 boys just love to play outside and find rocks and acorns. I think I may need to start a nature table because they always want to bring them inside and keep their “treasures.”

Great interview, it was nice to hear a bit about Steve – he obviously contributes a ton to this wonderful family, and I’m grateful to also have a husband who is active and creative. What a joy to get to read Amanda’s blog, and I’ve already checked her book out from the library. I’d love to get a copy of my own, so thanks for the opportunity!
